The Men’s Secretary’s Cup (Pairs Greensomes) Final was played today at Belton Woods (don’t let the blue sky fool you yes it was Lincolnshire).
As expected a very competitive game, with resident referee Bruce comparing the game.
Rob Palframan & Nathan Smith playing against Steve Hall and Rob Vine, 1 up at the turn to Rob and Nathan.
Steve & Rob with a 4 net 3 on 10 to level the match and then Rob & Nathan made birdie on the 11th par 3 to bounce back. A solid par from Rob & Nathan on 12 giving a shot, was good enough to take a 2up lead, and the momentum.
Another win on 15 saw Rob & Nathan go 3up and a half up 16 closed it out for a 3 & 2 Victory for Rob & Nathan. Champions 2023!
