Belton Woods is a PGA championship approved venue. Established in 1991, Belton Woods has matured and improved year on year, to produce some of the best courses in the Midlands.
We have 36 holes of golf over 2 challenging and picturesque courses.
The Championship Lakes course which was home of the oldest PGA tournament in the world – the Midlands PGA Championships. With its long holes, thin fairways and, as the name suggest, plenty of water hazards, this is a challenging course for any golfer.
The Woodside course with it’s gentle undulating fairways, which makes local knowledge the key to a low score. The course runs alongside many of the wooded areas surrounding the resort and has a number of pot bunkers to catch you out.
The golfing facilities at Belton Woods are perfect for enthusiasts and professionals alike. Improve your swing with some personal tuition then practice in our 20 bay, floodlit driving range.
Golf School – Lessons are available with the professional.
Trolley Hire – Buggies and trolleys are available to hire at the Pro shop.
Practice Range – Loosen your shoulders on the practice range (there are 20 covered bays) before your round. And don’t forget to get your eye in on the practice putting green before you tackle the championship courses.
19th Hole – Visit “The Claret Jug’, a perfect way to finish your day. Enjoy a light meal or refreshing drink in our restaurant bar.
The Club has strong Men’s, Ladies and Seniors sections and a developing Junior Section, all arrange events and competitions to provide a varied programme of golf for members.
