Well, what a fantastic Captains Quiz night tonight.
19 teams took part in a Charity Night in support of “Together for short lives” this is a leading charity for Children’s Palliative Care”
The event was a great success and the support from Belton Woods Hotel and Members was great.
The event quiz master was Tom Dixon (look out for the GOLD Jacket & Dickie Bow) and was in control of the 50 questions with breaks and snacks included.
The questions were broken into blocks of 5 on varied subjects.
The 19th hole was a buzzing atmosphere all night!
The quiz went to a tie break question with Quiz Team Aguilera winning on 43pts .
The team members were – James Moore, Simon Oakes, Phill Sheardown and John Reece.
The Captain held an Auction for 2 x 4 Balls. One at Retford and one at Torksey .
The Retford four ball was brought by Glenn Lawrence and the Torksey four ball was brought by John Rees
Andy Williams won four 1 day passes for the BW Leisure.
Well done to all involved in what was a great success.
