The Belton Woods Ladies Invitational took place on Sunday 6th August with twenty ladies taking part. The weather was kind to us and we managed to complete the golf on the Lakes course without a drop of rain. With half-way house treats and a tasty two course meal at the hotel to finish off a lovely day the players were certainly replete!
The nearest pin for the members was won by Trudi Galloway and for the visitors by Jo Jones (Belton Park).
The results for the pairs competition were:-
4th place Jan Machin and Dawn Cunnington (Woodhall Spa) with 35 points
3rd Jacqui Francis and Haley Harding (Sudbrook Moor) 36pt
2nd place Wendy Stewart and Issie Guest (Belton Park) 37pt
1st place Jen Hallett and Myra Evangelista (Sudbrook Moor) with 40 points
