Tonka twosomes & Boris Bowl Competition
On the bank holiday Monday, the mixed trophy competition was held to find the best mixed pairs in a fun, greensomes, medal competition. The format was normal greensomes on the par 3 holes, American greensomes on the par 4s and a modified greensomes for the par 5s. The Tonka Twosomes, which is for married couples, was won by Gaynor & Rob Palframan with Caroline & Tony Hills runners up. The Boris Bowl was won by Julie White & Captain Max Bates with Ailsa Lines & Keith Aiton runners up. It was pleasing to have 16 pairs enter this year.
