Belton Woods Mixed Open took place on Bank Holiday Monday, 1st May, on the Woods Course. On a warm, sunny day, the course still quite wet with the recent heavy rain, some great scores were recorded, notably Gaynor Palframan achieving an Eagle on the Par 5 16th hole. Thirty-four pairs took part with separate prizes for both the first places for the Home and Visiting Winning Pairs.
