Five of Belton Woods juniors girls entered the LWGA Girls Fundraiser competition held at Thonock Park on Sunday. They were partnered by ladies from Belton Woods Ladies Section, who gave up their Sunday to accompany the girls on a course, two of the girls were playing an 18-hole competition for the first time.
All the girls appreciated the help and encouragement they received from the ladies, on a course made more difficult by the heavy rain over the previous few days.
Dacey Myers with her partner Ladies Vice Captain Jan Machin ran out winners with an exceptionally good 47 points.
