Hi! My name is James, and I am 15 years old living in Lincolnshire.
I first played golf around a year and a half ago at a pitch and putt course in Devon whilst on holiday with my dad and older brother. We all really enjoyed the experience and have been playing golf ever since.
Soon after my return from holiday I started having lessons and then became a junior member at Belton Woods Golf Club, which has allowed me to both play in various competitions and gain my handicap. I believe the sport has taught me the important skills of patience and determination, two talents that are also very important when playing the piano, one of my passions outside of golf.
I am extremely grateful for the opportunity England Golf has presented to me, and I hope to use my role as a Junior ambassador to help golf to become both more diverse and inclusive to all players.
