MEMBER'S ACHIEVEMENTS 2019

  Whether you have played in an Open, a national competition, achieved a hole-in-one or just on holiday, why not share your experience with the rest of us.  Just  let us know what you want to share and we'll gladly post it here for you, photos would be great too.

Elizabeth Isles is excited to let us know that she got her first Hole in One playing in a friendly round with her family on Saturday 4th May.  It occured on Hole 2 of the Lakes and Liz reports "it did a beautiful arch and went straight in, no messing around".  Well done Liz and big congratulations.

Another of our ladies making a Hole in One in May! Jennifer Hallett successfully aced the 11th of the Woods during the Spring Meeting. Well done Jen and thanks for the Pimms!

Jen, Lis, Hnin and Yvonne played in the Melton Ladies AmAm on 21st June and came first with a score of 78.

Thursday, 20th June, our ladies were in action at the Sherwood Forest AmAm. Trudi, Lesley, Lorraine and Gaynor came 4th with a nett 135 (medal) just missing out on 3rd place on count back

On 23d June, Belton Park hosted the Flowers Mixed Open.  Taking first place with 45 pts were Paul Perrin ad Shirley King.  Carole and Pete Stothard came 4th with 42 pts and Dave and Steph Lee came 5th with 41 pts.  Great result for Belton Woods members away from home.

On Thursday 4th July, Yvonne Walker, Donna Knight, Judi Downward and Jennifer Hallett came 2nd in the Belton Park Alzheimer's Charity Ladies Open iwth 82 pts (2 to count) only 1 pt behind the winners.  Judi also took the prize for the 2's.

On 9th July, Steph Lee, Judi Downward, Elaine Lilley and Wendy Stewart played the Ladies Open Over 55s Texas Scramble at Blankney.  They came in first with a score of 60.3

Another of our ladies joined the Hole in One Club in August on the 4th of the Woods. Well done Hnin Shein.

Chris Reynolds travelled to Close House, Newcastle for the World Transplant Games held between 17-24th August. Winning Silver in the Ladies Nett Competition comes with automatics qualification for the World Transplant Games in Houston, Texas in 2 years time.  Chris even got to get a photo with the course designer, Lee Westwood.
