On Sunday, 10th July, on a very hot day, Belton Woods held the Captains’ Charity Day. 84 golfers took part in a Pairs Betterball Stableford Competition with the proceeds going to the Angelman UK Charity. The Competition was followed by the prize presentation and an auction was held to raise further funds for this good cause. The winners were Kathy Donnelly & Steve Hall with a magnificent score of 51 points. Runners-up were Tom Dixon & Brian Robinson with 46 pts ocb. 3rd Place Gaynor & Rob Palframan with 46 pts. 4th place Paul and Lesley Perrin 45 pts ocb. Nearest the Pin were Wendy Stewart and David Boon on the 4th hole and Sue Raynor and Tom Dixon on the 11th hole.
